Available in a variety of blade types and finishes, the Chapter is a knife for a built for hard use and solid adventures. The knife we wanted to carry didn't exist, so we made it.

The S35vn stainless steel blade holds an edge, resists corrosion and as is easy to care for. Available with a partially serrated, straight or tanto blade. This is the knife for a lifetime.

Practical, not tactical.
The Chapter is the reason the James Brand exists; the knife that started it all. We wanted a pocketknife that fit our lifestyle, clean and modern yet dependably functional. The Chapter was a design exercise in restraint; we stripped all unnecessary parts away and focused on creating an iconic form and details. It was important for the Chapter to be a clean, minimal design whether open or closed, with a clip that became the hero both near and far.

Ordered the chapter knife for my daughters boyfriend, he was graduating the police academy. Had the knife laser engraved with his name and swear in date. Turned out awesome, knife had clean lines and very well built. The pocket clip very sturdy. Came in really nice box, great for a gift.
