Turn Better, Fix More.

Let's face facts: one of the tools that you reach for a lot is a screwdriver. But a good screwdriver/bit driver is often hard to come by, and they are generally not well-suited for daily carry. That was the brief for the Cache River: to make a great screw and bit driver on a bearing that can easily be carried in-pocket on the daily. The Cache River comes complete with 3 bits and is a great sidekick to our knives, allowing you to tune up your blade and deal with other challenges that the day may bring. With its slim form, lanyard attachment and bearing-centered design the Cache River will quickly become an indispensable part of your EDC.

    Great tool

My work requires me to use a screwdriver all day. This bit driver works great. My coworkers compliment it regularly.

The case makes a rattle sound if you keep spare bits in it. Sounds like walking around with Tic tacs. I wrapped a piece of electrical tape around the bit so and that stopped the rattle.

    Had My Eye On This

Originally I saw this in a three pack with two other items for $250 and I knew I would never purchase that for fear of the pain and suffering my wife would inflict on me lol. When I saw this released on its own I jumped on it and I am so glad I did. Has an excellent weight to it. The magnet is strong and holds the bits VERY well. The internal storage for extra bits is a game changer. You can have three bits on you at any given moment. I really appreciate the time and detail that had everything to do with how well this product was made. That being said I know the price is a little high, but when you get the product you see where the value is. The James Brand offers the Affirm four payment option which is helpful if you need that. It’s average price for any driver being made these days AND this one is extremely pocketable. I would purchase on before you can’t anymore. Also, The James Brand customer service team was amazingly helpful on this order also. Thank You!!!

    Very handy, quality. Love it

Its very handy! The build quality is second to none, I love it. Use it often, more than I dream. I wish all 3 bits would fit inside just so you dont have a sharp bit poking holes in my pockets, but I understand the tool would need to be longer and a sacrifice has to be made somewhere. So i just crafted a little cap to fit over the large philips bit and problem solved. Maybe in the future you guys could look into adding a small protective cap for it? I would be happy to supply pics of what I did. Nonetheless I am very pleased with this and would buy again at the same price point.

    The Cashe River

Far more robust than expected when comparing to similar items. The cap with lanyard/key ring loop also spins in the palm for smoother working action. Come with three standard bits that you can easily exchange and replace. Great in hand feel with dimpling for finger grip. I will use this a lot and expect it will last a life time.
