The Abbey is charming; it delights and excites one to consider adding more of them
Wait! I am the first to review The Abbey? So be it. First whoever stuffed the lovely circular decal in black and gold wishing the recepient a Happy Holiday which I discovered by chance all the way at the bottom of a substantial mailing envelope that was sure to be overlooked except I am intuitive and found it anyway deep in he bottom corner. NG! I know shipping must be busy, but I am the better for finding that decal, it's really well executed. So is the packaging. It's not as ingenious as Apple's but TJB's packaging is so well designed and fabricated that it conveys a respect for what TJB offers us. Black background, white letters. Simple, elegant. The safely boxed Abbey is nestled in a closed box which is inserted in a matching sleeve. Did TJB have to do that? Thank you! To my sensibilities that's a lovely pre-presentation. It's a feel-good start leading to a better one, i.e., Pull out the box from the sleeve, open and there's an embossed black leather sleeve, a home for The Abbey protecting you and it and very nicely fabricated and styled in appearance. The paracord tail allows for a tug and effortless extraction of what I was alluding to: The Abbey for me was the surprise. Remove from the leather sleeve reveals the Abbey and for its design and appearance, it's kind'a gorgeous. The vinyl LP inlay even if scrap shimmers brightly and adds an elegance to the body of The Abbey.. The shape and contours just add further to how well designed this tiny (by comparison)…
