Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled G10, Micarta or carbon fiber scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife we’ve ever made. It's slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment. It's also fully ambidextrous, and the pocket clip can easily be removed. The thumb disc design means that the Carter is easy to use with one hand, so it's at the ready in all situations. The Carter is going to immediately earn its spot in your EDC rotation.

    I sleep with this masterpiece!!!!

    This knife is nothing short of exquisite. Fits perfectly in my hand. The right amount of balance. Every time I pull it out of my pocket for use and possibly a little admiration (both, I think), I'm guaranteed the task will get finished & heads will turn. I am beyond satisfied.

    What a classy pocket knife.

    I’ve written a review of the Folsom which is my daily pocket knife. Now the Carter.

    Very attractive knife. I got it in the Damascus/black Micarta. Very well made knife. Centered blade, smooth action. And yes it is not a loud click when you open. It’s more like … muffled? Dimmed? I don’t know the word. But it’s not bad. Just a little more classy I guess.

    This would definitely be my night knife.

    Excellent, I absolutely love my new knife!

    I really like my new knife! I’m an avid knife collector and have lots of knives from all around the world. I’ve been collecting since I was about 15 years old and while I was in the army I traveled all over the world and picked up knives from every place that I was. But, I have to say this is one of the best made knives that I own now! I really love the way it opens and closes. It’s very smooth. I have to give it a “5”. Proudly!!!

    Love this knife.

    Recently received James brand The Carter serrated. Iove this knife from the sleek design to functionality. Perfect size for an EDC, scales have a beautiful finish and have not scuffed at all and the action on the blade is super crisp. Would highly recommend.

    Favorite folder

    I love my new the Carter. It is now my favorite folder easy open Easy clothes one hand at no problem . I love the fact that it's sharp right out of the box.
