- GCGary C.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars3 days agoExcellent, I absolutely love my new knife!
I really like my new knife! I’m an avid knife collector and have lots of knives from all around the world. I’ve been collecting since I was about 15 years old and while I was in the army I traveled all over the world and picked up knives from every place that I was. But, I have to say this is one of the best made knives that I own now! I really love the way it opens and closes. It’s very smooth. I have to give it a “5”. Proudly!!!

Recently received James brand The Carter serrated. Iove this knife from the sleek design to functionality. Perfect size for an EDC, scales have a beautiful finish and have not scuffed at all and the action on the blade is super crisp. Would highly recommend.

I had been looking at TJB for a little while so I finally pulled the trigger and bought one and to be quite honest I'm more of a auto knife kinda guy, however I have never been more impressed with a flipper great steel in it and the action is super smooth g10 scales are very comfortable the knife carries exceptionally well and let's just talk about the box for a sec I have quite a few microtechs benchmades spydercos and other high end knives and I must say TJB box blows all the other out of the water so we'll done James brand my carter xl will not be the last knife I purchase for yall

I am a collector of both pocketknives and Carryology Collaboration items.
This is one of the top three Carryology items I have.
First, the knife. James Brand takes a classic pocketknife and turns it up with finish, materials, and ergonomics. Slide lock, flip disk, well-designed deep pocket clip: it is the epitome of an EDC pocketknife. The Carter is a knife that punches far above its weight in terms of cost. And then we do the Carryology voodoo to it.
The auxikko pattern on the handle, perfectly engraved into the scales, not only massively enhances the grip but is a classical Japanese element that makes this piece stand out. As this pattern is found on most of the Carryology collaboration pieces, it lends the knife a bespoke quality. The superb matte black finish, offset by the orange anodized thumb disk, is the chef's kiss on this incredible piece.
I almost don’t want to carry it daily, but when you have a bag, water bottle, wallet, and pen with the same design elements and patterning, you cannot help but want to take that next step in accessorizing.
