Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled G10, Micarta or carbon fiber scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife we’ve ever made. It's slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment. It's also fully ambidextrous, and the pocket clip can easily be removed. This is seriously classy, well designed knife. The micarta finish feels great in the head & the action is super smooth. I also love the colour - some have commented they expected a more "green" looking micarta, which to be honest I had expected as well but I love the natural micarta look, so am stoked. It's "the goat!"

The Carter is a wonderful knife, very well made and beautiful. The only thing is the color. I was expecting a darker green color (I purchased the OD Green Micarta); it looks more brown/tan than green.

This knife is nothing short of exquisite. Fits perfectly in my hand. The right amount of balance. Every time I pull it out of my pocket for use and possibly a little admiration (both, I think), I'm guaranteed the task will get finished & heads will turn. I am beyond satisfied.

I’ve written a review of the Folsom which is my daily pocket knife. Now the Carter.
Very attractive knife. I got it in the Damascus/black Micarta. Very well made knife. Centered blade, smooth action. And yes it is not a loud click when you open. It’s more like … muffled? Dimmed? I don’t know the word. But it’s not bad. Just a little more classy I guess.
This would definitely be my night knife.
