    It's good but too light and skinny.

    I am so used to using my climber's carabiner due to its sturdiness and strength. When I got the Mehlville, I was surprised by its lightness. I do hope it's strong enough to last a lifetime. It's thinner than my Black Diamond Neutrino carabiner. The two features of the Mehlville that I like are the bottle opener and the locking mechanism, which places all the keys in one place. That's great that I don't have to worry about losing my keys, which I sometimes drop a key from my Neutrino carabiner.

    I hope they make the next Mehlville, a version 2, that's thicker, has some weight (so I know it's there), and has the same strength as a climber's carabiner.

    This will hold my keys for decades

    This is a very nice looking piece of hardware with an excellent hinge. I got the brass option and it is very solid while at the same time not feeling overly heavy. An elegant and simple design.

    I very interesting experience

    I’ve been using James brand tools for around 1 year now and as a newer carrier I’ve very impressed! I picked up one of their knifes awhile back and it’s been the best daily carry I’ve ever had.

    As far as the carabiner goes it was definitely great at the beginning, unfortunately the spring mec gave out about 5 months into carry, what I did NOT know is you should lubricate and clean the system frequently. James was kind enough to honor their limited lifetime warranty and happily send me a new one.

    Their customer support and quality is amazing, worth every penny!
